Maize is starting to be utilised strategically across a larger demographic now with shorter CRM (comparative relative maturity) varieties on offer. This crop between Clyde and Alexandra has proven to be no exception. Aaron Watson, our Pastoral Agronomist in Otago, has been working closely with the farmer on this well-setup field now showing good potential for a positive silage yield.
